Life, Death & Things In-Between

"2013 has been a really fucked up year!"

That's what my sister told me as we discussed Paul Walker's untimely death over the phone a couple of days ago. True amidst all of the fun beautiful things that have happened this year, there's been lots of loss and disappointment. The thing is, it's not only 2013 that been fucked up, it's life itself; Sometimes the weirdest most random things happen in life that just have me throwing my hands up at the Lord giving Him a look that says "Really? Ain't nobody got time for that!"

"You don't get to choose how or when you you are going to die, you can only decide how you are going to live" ~

I read that quote in a CNN post about a letter that the late Farah Fawcett wrote her son and it really stayed with me. R.I.P to all the people we've lost today, yesterday and all the days of the past. May the lives you lived remind us to make use of the time that we have.

As much as life can be freaking hard to understand sometimes, it's also filled with lots of great things. friends, family, love, music, great food... the list is endless. But I've always felt that the pain we go through is what really makes me realize that I am alive and not just living. Those moments when tears are streaming down my face and I can barely breathe are when my whole skin stands on edge and it's almost like an outer body experience where I can literally feel every last part of my being. Dunno if that makes sense, it got me thinking of this poem I wrote ~ Alive

Chasing dreams in new ventures :)

There's nothing like the anxiety from the fear that you're losing valuable time to light a fire under your ass! It's been a while since I've blogged and let's just said fear of fading away into oblivion has driven me to my laptop to take a stab at my dreams.

I'm supposed to be doing a NanoWriMo this month but that hasn't been going so great, but I hope that now that the first issue of Papier colle, my new zine, is done I can get back to working on my novel.

Happy November people, click on the picture to read our first issue. Hopefully this is the beginning of something great! For you dreamers out there I hope you haven't given up!

Let's get into trouble people!

Did you know that most women ...

That's exactly what we're trying to figure out; We don't know what every single woman is like and we're never going to say that we can understand who women are exactly; they're different, they're intriguing, they're multifaceted, they're unique and no they're not from Venus!
